Hey, I know I ain’t the closest person to you, and I therefore both don’t know what specifically is falling apart or how specifically I can help, but I want to offer the extended services of my shoulder to lean on, my company to divert you, and my ear to listen to you.

It pains me to see a friend I’ve always considered dear, if distant, in distress without being able to feel like I can help, so know that I’ll always be someone to turn to if need be.

lots and lots of hugs. i spent most of today crying like a fool at work, so i understand. i’m glad the weekend with mom was fun!
