Things are going well. Eerrily well. I mean, not at the moment. Today kind of sucked. I had to work while both of my bosses dealt with their boss, their bosses boss, and like 8 other people from “home office” visiting and ended up staying three hours later than I was supposed to because I [...]

There are 8,000 topics I keep meaning to blog about, but my sad dying iBook combined with my apparent inability to climb stairs to use my parent’s computer have combined to create an almost insurmountable obsacle to my blogging. Thus, I bring you a list of things I’ve been spending a lot of my time [...]

I know. I kind of technically failed to post today, but you know what? I posted twice yesterday, once at almost midnight, and I fully plan to post again tomorrow, so this totally counts as my post for today, Tuesday the 11th. It’s only 11 past midnight for pete’s sake. Plus, if I haven’t gone [...]

I usually am not a huge fan of Keith Olbermann because of his blatant worship of Barack Obama. Not that I don’t like Barack Obama, but if I’m going to hate Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity for their crazy conservative rantings, I feel like I should at least be annoyed by Olbermann’s blantant liberalism.
Tonight, however, [...]

What can I say here that hasn’t already been said, debated, argued about, screamed about, cried about, and or ranted about on the internet 1,000 times before? I guess what I can say is THANK GOD THIS IS OVER! Has this election been going on my entire life? Because it’s truly starting to feel that way. [...]

So, I didn’t get the job. My boss kind of non chalantly threw out the fact that they hired someone else while giving me my agenda for the day. I’m not upset about it. I just kind of expected more than, “Oh, did you heard we hired someone else?” I mean, it’s not like I’ve [...]

My friend Jenn posted this on my facebook wall, and I was simultaneously surprised by how accurately this describes my life and by how I’ve never really addressed my TV addiction here. I guess I’ve been too busy talking about how I no longer want to work in TV, but that has not changed the [...]

Because I like to make comments about the Olympics, and no one is here to hear them, I will now post them for the world to read.
We start out with a Messianic piece about Michael Phelps, with many MANY gratuitous lower body shots. I’m certainly not complaining.
The piece contained the quote, “To win 8 olympic medals would [...]

As I walked home, I listened to a Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me clip show of sorts, compiling various celebrity interviews from the past year. While playing a quiz game with guest Kevin Clash, they invited Kevin’s alter ego, Elmo of Sesame Street fame, to answer some questions as well. Kevin answered the first question correctly. Elmo, [...]

So I’m watching Gilmore Girls, and I just can’t take the happy, coupley-ness of this particular season 2 episode. (Rory and Dean back together…Max and Lorelai engaged…cue lonely Amanda vomiting), so I switch the channel to The Royal Tenenbaums, where, right on cue, Luke Wilson attempts suicide. Wonderful.
I think the television is too accurately capturing my current emotions, and [...]
